Reinder Oldenburger
The paintings of Reinder Oldenburger are driven by the excitement of provoking curiosity. He is influenced by abstract expressionists, impressionists and the CoBrA movement. Having studied music in his early years, he thinks of his paintings as musical compositions, made up of layers, dynamics and harmony. Abundantly colorful and playfully challenging, his work contains a raw stream of shapes and colors. Originally from The Netherlands, Reinder now lives in New York City
